demographicsWhat is the age profile, attendance at services, household information, health and lifestyle within our church and community? See: http://www.chelmsford.anglican.org/pdfs/17.12.pdf

What can we do to for those in our church and reach out to our community?
Are you part of our older community and wish to help with our younger community such as Edward Bear? They would love to hear from you. See Young People on the website.

rotasChurch is the body of God’s people who are inspired to give their time, money and talents for the furthering of God’s kingdom. This page has the organizing rotas to make the above possible, so hopefully everyone will know who’s doing what, when and how!  Copies of rotas are also kept in the Rota File by the church door.

If you have offered to read the lesson in church, please click on the Lectionary Readings attachment below.

St Bartholomew’s Church

Sue Handscombe has been director of music since 2012.

On the third Sunday and All Age Services the music is generally more modern and up-beat in style, although we often combine this with more traditional hymns and songs within the same service.

The choir is made up of experienced singers, many of whom sing with local choirs and choral societies. As well as leading worship the choir frequently sings anthems, motets and similar items. Choir practice is at 9.30am on Sunday mornings and new members are always welcome. Even if you are not able to attend regularly, we welcome additional singers at Festivals and Feast Days. If you would like to be part of the choir, please speak to Sue Handscombe or one of the churchwardens.
