Families
We believe that you are never too young to be a part of our community and encounter God. In our many mid-week groups and our different Sunday services, we aim to provide a place in which children can feel safe and happy as they learn and grow together. Whether you are a parent or carer, grandparent or childminder, we hope that you will find St Bartholomew's to be a loving and supportive environment where you and your children can feel welcome, make friends, share your creativity and know God’s love.
Edward Bear Club meets every Monday at 10 am in the Church and Church Hall during school term time. This is a group for babies and children up to the age of five and their parents, grandparents or carers. Activities include play sessions, a short time to sing songs, listen to a story, say a prayer together and get creative with crafts, followed by refreshments in the Church Hall.
Pray and Play is space in the church that families can access to resource children during services. Art materials, weekly sheets, colourful books and explorer boxes open up bible stories and church life for children to grow in understanding.
